Join Montessori Canada as an Individual
Montessori Canada welcomes individuals who are passionate about Montessori education and its lasting impact on children, families, and communities. Whether you are an educator, administrator, school staff member, former student of a Montessori school, or a supporter of Montessori, joining as an Individual Associate connects you with a large network dedicated to the principles and practice of authentic Montessori education.
By becoming part of the Montessori Canada community, you gain access to valuable resources, professional development opportunities, and a network of individuals who share a deep commitment to Montessori education in Canada.
Who Can Join?
We offer different pathways for individuals to become part of the Montessori Canada community.
Administrator Associate (Past or Present)
For individuals who have held or currently hold leadership positions in schools, including principals, vice-principals, heads of school, administrative directors, or faculty heads in schools that are not enrolled with Montessori Canada.
Educator Associate (Past, Present, or Student)
For current and retired teachers, guides, early childhood educators (ECEs), co-teachers, classroom assistants, specialist teachers, and before- and after-school program personnel in schools that are not enrolled with Montessori Canada, as well as students from non-affiliated Teacher Training Institutes.
School Staff Associate
For all school staff members in non-Montessori Canada enrolled schools, including office administrators, supervisors, lunch monitors, financial department staff, and additional faculty members who support Montessori education.
Family or Supporter Associate
For families, caregivers, and Montessori supporters who are part of non-Montessori Canada enrolled schools, as well as former students of Montessori schools and individuals who wish to learn more about the Montessori philosophy and contribute to its growth in Canada.
Please note, if you are currently employed by or have a child attending a Montessori Canada Accredited, Applicant or Affiliate school, or Teacher Training Institute Affiliate, please contact the school administration as you may be eligible for complimentary enrollment.

Your enrollment in the Montessori Canada community begins on July 1 and runs through June 30 and renews annually. Individual Associate enrollment pricing is $99 per year.
